    Outing Description:  Come explore all of the different areas at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies.  You can experiences a Tropical Rain Forest, Coral Reef, Shark Lagoon, Stingray Bay, The Penguin Playhouse and much more.  You may even get to see the new baby penguin that was just born in the Spring of 2014!
    Cost

    Considerations:  (parking, clothing, age appropriateness, etc.)  $7.00 per person age 2 and up (adults, students and siblings)  Under 2 is free. 
    CASH ONLY AND EXACT CHANGE for admission.  If you have a Season Pass please let them know when you sign in.

    Outing Description:   A visit to the Lookout Mountain Battlefield and Point Park
    We will have a presentation of a “Common Soldier’s Life” at the park, that will begin at 10:30AM.
    You can also take a self-guided tour of Craven’s House, the on-site museum and we’ll have use of the picnic areas, so you bring a lunch and get to know your fellow TNVA families.

    No cost, but please try to donate to the park via a collection box at the park.

    Tri-Cities Warrior Path State Park

    Outing Description:  This outing is for all grade levels. The students and their families will have the opportunity to go on a nature hike in the park. There is also a large playground near the picnic tables, and families can rent paddle boats.


    Cost:  Paddle boats: $2.50 per boat (holds up to 4 passengers)

    No other cost.
    Please bring a sack lunch for your family.

    Considerations (parking, clothing, age appropriateness, etc.):  Students who wish to hike with the group should meet at the playground at 11:00 EST at the playground. Look for a sign.

    Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
    Lunch is not provided. Bring your own lunch.
    Wear comfortable shoes for hiking and appropriate clothing if you choose to rent paddle boats. You will get wet. Bring a towel.
